today i was just casually runninn, you know? It's warm outside and my zoom class started at 8 am so i went for a quick run. I was wearing my tennis skirt, which is pretty short but has a pair of shorts underneath it. For running it's such a comfortable piece of clothimg to wear.
Then a middle age man stoppped and asked whereas I was wearing only a skirt. Because I didn't see anything wrong with the question I sort of lifted the side of my skirt and said that there was also a pair of short. He then asked what was the name of it, so I said back (I was still passing him) that it's called a tennis skirt. And then this 40 and a bit year old man just told me that it was a sexy thing to wear! After that I ran faster...(it was the first time I got such a "compliment" *very, very ironic non corona infected cough*)
I mean I'm a 17 years old girl and I was wearing this skirt 'cause it's comfortable and not to be sexualized by some middle age guy! For some that might seem like overreacting but honestly? Women should wear their clothes for themselves. to feel pretty, sexy or empowered without instantly becoming a sex symbol for the men's dreams. I was not wearing this freaking skirt to impress anyone and no one absolutly no one should make me feel insecure about what I am wearing!
